Starting university is an exciting time, but it can also feel overwhelming — from moving to a new city and meeting new people to adjusting to academic life and managing your own schedule. At Manchester Met, we're here to help make your transition as smooth as possible, with a wide range of support, opportunities, and resources.

A Welcoming and Inclusive Community

Manchester Met is proud of its diverse community of students and staff. We are committed to creating a culture of inclusion and belonging, where everyone feels respected and valued.

Our Rise: Becoming Culturally Competent resource helps you explore ideas of identity, culture, and belonging. It encourages self-reflection and helps you better understand the perspectives of others — important skills for creating inclusive and supportive spaces.
