Marks can be capped for a few reasons:
For a second or further attempt at an assessment
- If there was academic misconduct associated with the assessment
If an assessment was late (Late submissions are capped at pass mark: 40 for foundation and undergraduate/50 for postgraduate if within 7 days.
A mark of 0 is given after the 7 day window).
