The standard extension we can grant to students will be shown in the Proposed Extension Date when you click the Submit Evidenced Extension link in the right hand assessment block of Moodle. This is usually 2 weeks, but there are some exceptions.
If you require longer, you can choose the desired submission date when making your request in Moodle. We may need to refer your request to your unit tutor for approval. If they agree to your date, your new deadline will be automatically updated. If they are unable to grant your request, your outcome will be Accepted – Deferred, which means you’ll have an opportunity to undertake your assessment at a later point (usually during the reassessment period). Details on what to do next will be included in your end-of-year results.
