Turnitin is an external global similarity (plagiarism) checking service which the University does not control. Summative (final) assessments are managed through the Moodle coursework tool. Once uploaded, submissions are sent to Turnitin for similarity checking. Any issues with Turnitin should not prevent you from uploading your submission.
If there are issues with Turnitin, it is very important that you still submit your work to be marked.
Please note that Turnitin submission receipt can take up to 24 hours to be generated. If there is an issue with Turnitin, you may not receive a similarity report initially for your submission, but your similarity report should become available once Turnitin is back online.
If your tutor has instructed you to submit via the Turnitin Assignment tool and you are unable to upload your submission, please contact your tutor for advice.
