Please note that course transfers are temporarily suspended due to the start of the academic year. As teaching has now begun we will be unable to process any cross department/faculties course to course transfers.
January starters:
The transfer window is open until the 14th February 2025.
Please contact your tutor or programme lead of your current course to discuss this first. The University has academic study skills support available to support you during your studies that may help you if you are experiencing difficulties with your current course.
Transfers to certain courses is not possible (e.g.Nursing). Please check that the course you are thinking of transferring to allows transfers, is suitable and there is a space for you on your preferred new course with the Programme Leader.
Once you have spoken with the new Programme Leader and have their agreement, please complete this Transfer Request Form (Please open in Google Chrome on a PC or laptop and allow a minute for the correct form to load). Transfer requests will be actioned within three weeks as they require approval from the Programme Leader. You will receive an email from the Student Records Operations Team once the process has been completed.

If you are an international student, your course transfer may not be possible under the conditions of your current visa. You should seek advice from PBSReporting@mmu.ac.uk before proceeding with a course transfer request.
