Undergraduate students starting in September will normally attend a ceremony during the summer graduation period.  If you are completing resits you will be able to graduate as normal, provided you have achieved 60 credits at level 6 in your final year (normally this equates to two completed units) as you will have enough credits for a Bachelor’s Degree without honours.

If you are a postgraduate student, you must complete your full award in order to attend your ceremony. If you accept an exit award and leave the University with a Postgraduate Certificate or Postgraduate Diploma, you may attend the graduation to accept that award, however, you would not be able to continue your studies to gain a higher award.

You can view the ceremony schedule on the Graduation webpage.

You will receive an email to both your personal and student email addresses inviting you to register for your ceremony in late April/early May. Please note you may receive your registration email at a different time to your friends. Please register your place as soon as you receive your invitation, as ceremony bookings may close early due to capacity restrictions. If your ceremony is full, you will be offered an alternative ceremony to attend.

Further information regarding graduation can be found on the Graduation webpage. Current students can contact the Graduation team directly via the Assist portal.
